Dolly Parton has joined Sabrina Carpenter for a new duet version of "Please Please Please."
"Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!!" Carpenter wrote on social media while sharing the new track. "I am so honoured to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. 'Short n' Sweet' deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!!"
She added, "Love you forever @dollyparton."
The revamped version also arrives with a black-and-white official video in which the pair hit the open road together. They trade vocals as Carpenter takes the wheel and Parton sits in the passenger seat.
The new duet version is featured on the deluxe version of Carpenter's Grammy-winning album Short n' Sweet.
The deluxe version also features four other new songs: "15 Minutes," "Couldn't Make It Any Harder," "Busy Woman, " and "Bad Reviews."
The original "Please Please Please" was released on June 6, 2024 as the second single from Short n' Sweet. Produced by Jack Antonoff, it was written by Antonoff, Carpenter, and Amy Allen.
The song peaked at atop the Billboard Hot 100, earning Carpenter her first No. 1 single on the chart.
