Disturbed Unleash Powerful New Single 'I Will Not Break'

Disturbed recently shared a new single, "I Will Not Break," their first release on their new label, Mother Culture Records.

The song is the band's first new music since the release of the Divisive album, which arrived in 2022.

According to Disturbed, "I Will Not Break" is "a necessary song, about becoming stronger than the forces that constantly try to tear you down."

The song's lyrics include lines that encourages one to stay stubborn in the face of adversity.

"Why am I acting like an animal/ What the hell happened to me/ I've had enough of feeling terrified/ Now I'm deciding/ That I won't be hiding from anyone/ The change was/ Far beyond physical when it all happened to me/ I even contemplated suicide/ And though I am haunted/ I will not be taunted by anyone," sings David Draiman.

During a concert in 2023, Draiman told the audience, "I miss the friends that we've lost. I miss Chester [Bennington], I miss Scott [Weiland], I miss Chris [Cornell]. And if I can be completely honest with you, a couple months ago, I almost joined them. Addiction and depression can happen to anyone ladies and gentlemen. No one is immune from it no matter how beautiful their life may look from the outside."

Drew Fulk, who worked with the band for the Divisive album, helmed "I Will Not Break."
