Zai Lab Limited (ZLAB), while reporting narrower loss and higher revenues in its fourth quarter, on Thursday said it expects to achieve profitability on an adjusted basis in the fourth quarter of 2025.
For fiscal 2025, total revenue are expected to be in the range of $560 million to $590 million.
The Wall Street analysts, on average, expect revenues of $567.84 million for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
In pre-market activity on the Nasdaq, Zai Lab shares were gaining around 2.7 percent to trade at $36.00.
In its fourth quarter, net loss was $81.68 million, or a loss per ordinary share of $0.08, compared to a net loss of $95.43 million or a loss per ordinary share of $0.10 last year.
Loss per American Deposit Share or ADS was $0.80, compared to loss per ADS of $0.98 a year ago.
These decreases in net loss were primarily due to product revenue growing faster than net operating expenses, offset by decreased interest income and increased foreign currency loss.
The company's revenue for the period rose 65.7% to $109.07 million from $65.83 million last year.
