Sandvik AB (SDVKF.PK, SDVKY.PK), a Swedish engineering company, said on Friday that it has bagged an order worth around SEK 320 million for a fleet of underground mining equipment from the Peruvian mining firm, Compania de Minas Buenaventura.
The order includes loaders and drills, which will be used at three of Buenaventura's underground mines, including El Brocal, Yumpag, and Uchucchacua.
The deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025 and continue through the first quarter of 2026.
In addition to the equipment, Sandvik will supply spare parts, components, and maintenance service during the lifetime of the equipment.
