Essentra plc reported fiscal 2024 pre-tax profit of 5.7 million pounds compared to 8.4 million pounds, last year. Earnings per share from continuing operations was 4.0 pence compared to 2.0 pence. Adjusted operating profit was 40.1 million pounds compared to 43.2 million pounds. Adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations was 8.4 pence compared to 10.5 pence.
Fiscal 2024 revenue declined to 302.4 million pounds from 316.3 million pounds, last year. Revenue was up 0.3% on a constant currency basis, and down 2.7% on a like-for-like basis.
Scott Fawcett, Chief Executive, said: "At this early stage in the year, results for fiscal 2025 are anticipated to be in line with the Board's expectations."
