Plexus Holdings Reports Loss In H1

Plexus Holdings Plc (POS.L) on Friday reported loss in the first half of fiscal 2024, compared to profit a year ago. Revenues also came in lower than last year.

The company posted pre-tax loss of 1.31 million pounds in the first six months, compared to 2.22 million pounds in the same period a year ago.

The company attributed profit for the six-month period in the prior year to the one-off SLB licensing agreement, which brought in revenues of 4.08 million pounds, with no associated costs.

On a per share basis, loss was 1.25 pence, in contrast to income of 2.19 pence in the prior-year period.

The oil and gas engineering services company's revenues declined to 2.87 million pounds from 5.09 million pounds recorded in the first six months of 2023.

EBITDA loss for the period came in at 0.2 million pounds, compared to EBITDA earnings of 3.1 million pounds in the prior-year period.

On the LSE, the stock is down 12.06 percent trading at 8.43 pence.
