Neil Young and Joan Baez will join Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at a Fighting Oligarchy rally in Los Angeles later this week.
The April 12th event is also set to feature other musicians such as Maggie Rogers, Indigo de Souza, Jeff Rosenstock, The Red Pears and Raise Gospel Choir.
In his call to join the Fighting Oligarchy Tour, Sanders says, "Over the course of the next few weeks I'll be hitting the road to have real discussions across America on how we move forward to take on the Oligarchs and corporate interests who have so much power and influence in this country."
The Speaking Program starts at 1 pm PT at the Gloria Molina Grand Park.
Reps. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) also will address the rally.
Other events in the series are scheduled to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 13, Nampa, Idaho, on April 14, Bakersfield and Auburn in California on April 15, and in Missoula, Montana, on April 16.
The Fighting Oligarchy tour is organized mostly in predominantly Republican cities.
