Candel Therapeutics Inc. (CADL) will present data from its phase III clinical trial of CAN-2409 in patients with intermediate-to-high-risk localized prostate cancer at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting on June 3, 2025. The results from this trial, reported last December, demonstrated statistically significant improvement in disease-free survival in patients who received CAN-2409 plus prodrug (valacyclovir) combined with standard of care compared to standard of care alone. Preparation for Biologics License Application (BLA) for CAN-2409 in prostate cancer is underway, with submission expected in Q4 2026.
