Kendrick Lamar was among the big winners at the BET Awards 2025, taking home four major awards.
Lamar won the awards for Album of the Year for GNX, Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Video of the Year for the viral smash "Not Like Us" and Best Collaboration alongside SZA for their soul-shaking track "Luther." Lamar also shared Video Director of the Year honors with longtime creative partner Dave Free.
On the R&B side, SZA took home the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist award. Chris Brown was adjudged Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, while Future & Metro Boomin earned Best Group, thanks to their hit-filled collab album that shook up the charts and clubs alike.
Leon Thomas — the singer, songwriter, and former child actor turned solo star — was crowned Best New Artist, while Doechii won the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist.
The BET Her award went to Summer Walker for "Heart of a Woman." GloRilla, Kirk Franklin, and Maverick City Music took home the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for their powerful collab "Rain Down on Me."
Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z, took home the Young Stars Award for a second year in a row at the 25th BET Awards.
Hosted by Kevin Hart, the BET Awards 2025 brought together the brightest stars across music, film, TV, and sports.
