The Who recently performed their classic 1971 song "Going Mobile" live for the first time ever.
Last Saturday, the band kicked off their "The Song Is Over" North American farewell tour at the Amerant Bank Arena in Florida. The band surprised the audience by performing the classic song, something fans have never experienced since its release five decades ago.
Simon Townshend, Pete's younger brother, took over vocal duties, while Roger Daltrey played the harmonica.
"Going Mobile" was part of four straight songs from Who's Next, with the band performing "Bargain," "Love Ain't For Keeping" and "Behind Blue Eyes" right before it.
Later in the concert, they also played "Won't Get Fooled Again," "The Song Is Over," and "Baba O'Riley" from the same album.
"The Song Is Over" North American farewell tour is set to conclude on September 28 in Las Vegas.
