Everclear are set to release a 30th anniversary edition of Sparkle and Fade, the band's second studio album released in 1995.
Everclear will release the anniversary edition on October 31, featuring a remastered version of the album's 14 songs and unreleased tracks, alternate versions of fan favorites, original demos and cover songs recorded around the time of the album sessions.
"Sparkle and Fade was not the first album I had made, but it was the album I had wanted to make my whole life," said frontman Art Alexakis. "It changed everything for me and Everclear."
Sparkle and Fade was Everclear's first album to be released exclusively on Capitol Records; their previous effort, World of Noise, was re-released on Capitol after its introduction through the Portland, Oregon-based label, Tim/Kerr Records.
The album produced the singles "Heroin Girl," "Santa Monica," "Heartspark Dollarsign," and "You Make Me Feel Like a Whore."
Sparkle and Fade is Everclear's third-best-selling album to date and was certified Platinum by the RIAA in May 1996.
