Superstar singer Jelly Roll has opened up about his weight loss journey in a cover story for Men's Health.
The CMA Award winner has lost nearly 275 pounds over the course of five years.
Appearing on the cover of the magazine's Winter 2026 issue, published January 2, marks a major milestone for Jelly Roll, who in late 2024 made public his goal to be on the cover of Men's Health in 2026.
"I am on the cover of Men's Health magazine," he boasted. "You know, I was thinking, when I was 500-something pounds and walking a 40-minute mile, probably, I was screaming [that] I was going to be on the cover Men's Health. And, even to me, as wild as I think, and big of a dreamer as I am, that was pretty ambitious."
The cover story of Men's Health, accompanied by a video documentary titled "A Year for a Life," chronicles Jelly Roll's fitness journey. He was supported by a team of trusted guides who helped him focus on exercise and nutritious meals, while keeping his testosterone, cholesterol, and A1C levels under control.
The video shows Jelly Roll walking up stairs in the arenas he has played, as well as boxing and doing push-ups.
"The first couple of blood panels were like, how are you alive?" Jelly Roll says.
