Kim Gordon recently released the title track from her upcoming album, PLAY ME, and also released her tour schedule.
"PLAY ME" arrived with an accompanying video. In the visual, Gordon is seen wandering around an outdoor mall, along with several other people getting into wild shenanigans.
The 12-track PLAY ME album is due out on Friday, March 13th via Matador. According to a press release, the album is "an interior record in which a heightened emotionality pulses through physical jams."
"We wanted to do it really fast. It's more focused, and maybe more confident," said Gordon about PLAY ME in a statement. "I always kind of work off of rhythms, and I knew I wanted it to be even more beat-oriented than the last one. Justin really gets my voice and my lyrics, and he understands how I work — that came forth even more on this record."
Gordon shared the album's first track, "NOT TODAY," in January and followed it up with "DIRTY TECH" in February.
