Power Snatch, a new project by Paramore's Hayley Williams and longtime collaborator Daniel James, have released a cover of This Is Lorelei's "Perfect Hand."
The song is from Box For Buddy, Box For Star (Super Deluxe), which is due out April 17 via Double Double Whammy. It includes other covers by Jeff Tweedy, Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, Momma, SASAMI, and more.
"Getting to hear Hayley and Dan's beautiful take on 'Perfect Hand' for the first time was surreal. Getting to contribute vocals was even more so," Nate Amos says. "Couldn't be more stoked for this to exist."
James adds, "We've both been fans of Nate's for a long time, and loved getting to rework one of our favourite This is Lorelei songs. His natural way with lyrics and melodies made it easy to translate the song to a different place for this project. It also happened to be the song that started Power Snatch."
