Lil Uzi Vert Earns First Lead No. 1 On Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay Chart With 'What You Saying'

Lil Uzi Vert's "What You Saying" advanced 3-1 on Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay chart dated March 21, marking the artist's first topper in a lead role.

Uzi previously topped the list twice in features capacities, first on Migo's "Bad and Boujee," which stayed at No. 1 for two weeks in March 2017, and then on Nicki Minaj's "Everybody," which reigned for three frames in February-March 2024.

According to Luminate, "What You Saying" logged an 8% increase in plays in the tracking week ending March 12, compared with previous tracking week ending March 5, to hit the top spot. The song pushed last week's topper "Chanel" (Tyla), to the second spot.

"What You Saying" holds at its No. 3 high on Rap Airplay with a 7% boost in audience for the tracking week. On the audience-based R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, the song has moved up by three spots to No. 11 from 6.2 million audience impressions, up 6% from the prior week's count.

On the plays-based Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, the single rises 17-15 via a 6% gain in plays for the week.
