Drowning Pool's 'Sinner' To Be Reissued For 25th Anniversary

Drowning Pool are set to reissue their 2001 album Sinner in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

Sinner arrived at a moment when nu metal was reaching a wider audience. For Drowning Pool, it marked a breakthrough — an album built on direct, heavy songwriting that connected quickly and held. It would also remain the band's only album with original vocalist Dave Williams.

The album returns on June 5 for its 25th anniversary, newly available on Sea Blue Smoke vinyl alongside an expanded digital edition. The release adds "Bodies (Chris Vrenna's XXX Tweaker Mix)" — from the former Nine Inch Nails drummer and producer — alongside "The Man Without Fear (feat. Rob Zombie)" and "Break You (Demo)."

The 25th anniversary edition of Sinner is available to pre-order here.

"We appreciate all of our amazing fans that have stuck with us over the past 25 years!" the band shares. "We will be playing the Sinner record in its entirety and other fan-favorite songs as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone and performing all these songs live again. Come celebrate Sinner with us. See you at the shows!"

The anniversary release arrives as Drowning Pool returns to touring across the Americas, the U.K., and Europe, bringing Sinner back into the setting where much of its impact first took hold.
