Madonna Officially Releases 'I Feel So Free' From 'Confessions II'

Queen of pop Madonna has officially released her new song, "I Feel So Free."

Earlier, Madonna announced that her new album, Confessions II, will be released on July 3, marking a sequel to her seminal 2005 record, Confessions On A Dance Floor.

"I Feel So Free" is the first preview from Confessions II. The song was initially served to select DJs and clubs, but Madonna has now released it on streaming and digital platforms.

Speaking about the record, Madonna said, "When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It's a place where you connect —with your wounds, with your fragility."

"To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people," she continued. "Sound, light, and vibration reshape our perceptions, pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don't just hear it but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time."

Two versions of Confessions II will be available, a 12-track standard edition and a deluxe edition containing four additional songs. The album marks Madonna's first full-length release since 2019's Madame X.
