Universal Music Enterprises has announced a vinyl and digital reissue of Don Henley's six-time platinum solo album The End Of The Innocence, due June 5th.
The album is newly remastered from the original analog tapes and will be available as a 2-LP set on 180-gram vinyl for the very first time. The remastered audio will also be available on the same date for streaming and digital download.
The End of the Innocence, Henley's third solo studio album, was released on June 27, 1989, on Geffen Records, and was his last release on that label. It was also his last solo album before reforming the Eagles and it would be eleven years before he released another solo project, 2000's Inside Job.
The End of the Innocence debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and went on to become his best-selling solo album.
Featuring hits like the title track, which Henley wrote with Bruce Hornsby, "I Will Not Go Quietly," which features Axl Rose, "The Last Worthless Evening," "The Heart of the Matter" and "New York Minute," The End Of Innocence has been certified six-times platinum.
