Dylan Scott Claims No. 1 Spot At Country Radio With 'What He'll Never Have'

Dylan Scott's "What He'll Never Have" tops the country radio chart, earning the multi-platinum Curb Records recording artist his seventh career No. 1.

"What He'll Never Have," which Scott wrote alongside his brother Logan Robinson, Ricky Rowton and Robbie Gatlin, is one of the biggest of his career with over 400M global streams and counting.

The lyrics of the song go like this: "Girl, I meant what I said // When I said, "I do" // Yeah, through thick or thin // I'd spend forever with you // But if I leave this world // Baby, a little too soon // It hurts like hell to say // "I hope you find someone new" // He can have my truck, sitting out in the drive // He can have this house, everything inside // My favorite fishing hole and my old dog too // But what he'll never have, is the love I have for you"

"Grateful to notch another #1 in the belt. Country Radio and the country music fans have been too good to me. To the kid who grew up in Bastrop, LA that dreamed of having a #1 plaque on his wall, we got 7 now buddy!" said Scott.

"What He'll Never Have" is the lead track on Scott's 11-track studio album, Easy Does It, which arrived in May 2025.
