Kodak Black Arrested In Florida For Second Time In 8 Days

Rapper Kodak Black has been arrested in Florida for the second time in eight days.

The rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was taken into custody Thursday by the Pompano Beach Police Department.

The charges stem from a February 27 traffic stop in Pompano Beach, Florida, according to NBC6, which viewed the arrest affidavit that claims Kodak "did have knowledge that he had been ordered to stop such vehicle by a duly authorized law enforcement officer, stopped in knowing compliance with such order, and proceeded to flee from deputies."

The rapper was also arrested in Florida on May 6 in connection with an alleged MDMA trafficking case. Police also allegedly found drugs inside one of the vehicles, leading to Kapri's arrest.

Kapri appeared in court on May 7. He pleaded not guilty and asked for a jury trial. The judge set his bond at $75,000, noting the rapper's 12 previous felony convictions, two misdemeanor convictions and one failure to appear.
