Beastie Boys' Mike D recently dropped a new solo single, "What We Got."
"What We Got" is the second song to be released from a series of experimental sessions with Mike D, his sons Davis and Skyler, along with musicians Jason Lader, Benjamin Pacheco, Kevin Rhomberg, Carter Lang and Tyran Donaldson.
The song was produced by Lang and Donaldson and mixed by Derek "MixedByAli" Ali at No Name Studios.
"Stuck in our minds / replay it / those times that could have been different / same thing happened / did you listen?" Mike D raps.
Earlier this month, Mike D surprise-released "Switch Up," his debut solo single and his first new music since the Beastie Boys' final album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.
