Ariana Grande's 'Hate That I Made You Love Me' Debuts Atop U.K. Singles Chart

Ariana Grande's new song, "Hate That I Made You Love Me," has debuted atop the U.K. singles chart.

After five straight weeks at the summit, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's "Rein Me In" settled for No. 2 on the chart dated June 5.

"Hate That I Made You Love Me," the lead single from Grande's upcoming album Petal, marks her eighth U.K. No. 1 single.

The track, written alongside longtime collaborator Max Martin, joins "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj team-up "Bang Bang," "Thank u," "Next," "7 rings," "Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored" and "Positions" in her tally of chart-toppers.

With this, Ariana hops up the list of acts with the most UK No. 1 singles, now drawing level with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Oasis and The Rolling Stones.

"Hate That I Made You Love Me" is followed by "Rein Me In" at No. 2, Olivia Rodrigo's "The Cure" at No. 3, Drake's "Janice STFU" at No. 4, and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" at No. 5.

Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" rebounds to its previous peak (13), as fellow country star Stella Lefty lands a new personal best with "Boston," up three (25).
