Descartes-08 is engineered using mRNA technology, enabling transient CAR-T activity without the prolonged immune suppression associated with traditional DNA-integrated CAR-T therapies. This approach is intended to offer safer, outpatient-friendly dosing for chronic autoimmune conditions such as myasthenia gravis, myositis, and juvenile dermatomyositis.
