Justin Moore has announced that he is taking a break from touring to focus on his health.
The 42-year-old country singer made his decision public through an Instagram post.
"I've made the decision to take some time to focus on my health. As a result, I'll be stepping away from touring for a short period and will be unable to perform some upcoming shows," Moore said. "This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone's understanding and support."
He added, "I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most."
Fellow country artists Jake Owen and Priscilla Block posted messages supporting the decision.
Moore did not specify what his health issue but canceled at least two concerts scheduled for this week - Bottle & Cork in Delaware, on Thursday and Friday.
