Monday, Nokia Corp. (NOK) said that that it has completed the acquisition of Enpocket, a provider of mobile advertising technology and services.
Commenting on the purchase, Tero Ojanpera, chief technology officer, said, The Enpocket acquisition is a logical step in establishing Nokia as a leader in Internet services.
He added, With the close of this transaction, we will create an exciting business focusing on advertising, offering a strong suite of services and solutions to enable brands, publishers, telecom operators and others to run targeted advertising and marketing campaigns for mobile audiences.
