Noveko International Inc. (EKO.V) on Tuesday announced that its subsidiary Noveko Inc. has been granted a patent for its antimicrobial filtration technology by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Intellectual Property Office of R.O.C. Taiwan.

Additionally, Noveko also said it has been granted a "Notice of Allowance" by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, after its June 2003 filing of a patent application for its antimicrobial filtration technology. And the Canadian patent is expected within the next few weeks, the company added. Noveko already holds a U.S. patent and a Eurasian patent for its antimicrobial filtration technology.
