Emcor Group, Inc. (EME) announced that its Emcor Government Services business has formed CFS-Millington, a joint venture with Washington, D.C.-based Capitol Technology Services, Inc.
Emcor said that the joint venture would perform a ten-year, $89-million facility operations and maintenance service contract for the United States Navy's Support Activity Mid-South facility in Millington, Tennessee. As part of Emcor's small business outreach effort, Emcor Government Services and Capitol Technology Services, Inc. have a U.S. Small Business Administration approved Mentor-Protg relationship and are currently working together at other sites, including NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
CFS-Millington would direct and perform the services in the contract. Walker J. Walker and Lowrie Electric, two of Emcor's Tennessee-area operating companies, would work for the joint venture to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance work, repairs and construction for the facility.
