Eurozone industrial production grew 0.9% month-on-month in April after falling 0.5% in March, the Eurostat reported Thursday. Economists were expecting an increase of 0.1%. On an annual basis, industrial output grew 3.9%, faster than 1.6% growth recorded in March and an expected increase of 2.7%.
The Eurostat downwardly revised March's monthly decrease from a 0.2% fall reported earlier. The annual increase was revised from 2%.
