Shares of Range Resources (RRC) dropped sharply throughout the morning on Thursday and then saw further weakness on heavy volume late in the day. The stock closed just off of its intraday low at $62.01 down $4.49.
Thursday's nearly 7% drop pulled the stock below support to close at a three month low.
