BG Group Plc (BG.L) said it appointed David Manning as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Most recently, Mannings was the Foreign Policy Adviser to the British Prime Minister and British Ambassador in Washington. He is also a non-executive director of Lloyds TSB Group Plc.
Commenting on the appointment, BG Group's Chairman Robert Wilson said, "We are delighted to announce this appointment. Sir David's experience of government as a senior diplomat will be a valuable addition to our Board".
