Apparel retailer Charming Shoppes, Inc. (CHRS) Friday said it elected Jeannine Strandjord to its Board of Directors.
Strandjord had served on Charming Shoppes' Board of Directors from April 2006 until June 2008. The Board unanimously elected Strandjord to fill the vacancy left by the recent and sudden demise of William Albertini.
Most recently Strandjord served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Integration Officer of Sprint Corp. from 2003 until her retirement in 2005.
