VIVUS Inc. (VVUS) gapped open slightly higher on Thursday and has been climbing in stages since then. Currently, the stock is trading at $8.73 up $0.21 from Wednesday's close.
The advance has lifted the stock over recent resistance and to a new multi-year high.
