WWE Expands Board; Robert Bowman Resigns from Board - Update

Thursday, World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) announced it has expanded its Board of Directors to 10 members with the addition of Kevin Dunn, Frank Riddick and Jeffrey Speed. The company also added that Robert Bowman has resigned from the Board, in accordance with his previously announced plans. The company expects the three executives to bring extensive operating experience and financial acumen, in hopes of meeting the challenges of continued global expansion and to capitalize on the future opportunities.

Riddick would now chair the Company's Audit Committee, while Speed and current Board members David Kenin and Michael Solomon would be other members of the committee.

Dunn has served as WWE's Executive Vice President, Television Production, since July 2003, while Riddick was a consultant to TowerBrook Capital Partners, L.P., a New York and London - based private equity firm.

Speed has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Six Flags Inc., since April 2006 and has spent approximately 13 years with The Walt Disney Company prior to joining Six Flags.

The stock is currently trading up 0.07% at $15.39 on the New York Stock Exchange.
