Moser Baer India announced that the company's wholly owned photovoltaic subsidiary entered into definitive agreements from a consortium of global investors including Nomura, CDC Group, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, IDFC PE and IDFC to fund the photovoltaic units ambitious growth plans.
The transaction values Moser Baer's PV business at Rs.6, 350 crores. The company plans to utilize the capital infusion to the capacity expansion of its high efficiency crystalline silicon and thin film solar verticals.
