Shares of Meadowbrook Insurance Group (MIG) rose sharply through the first 40 minutes of trading on Thursday and then it traded in a range for the remainder of the session. The stock closed at $7.44 up 20 cents from Wednesday's close.
With the nearly 3% gain, the stock moved above resistance to set a four month closing high.
