Wednesday, Rackable Systems Inc. (RACK) announced a partnership with NetApp to offer customers best-of-breed server and storage solutions for enterprise environments. Under terms of the agreement, Rackable Systems joins NetApp's Embedded Systems Vendor Program and will integrate NetApp storage into Rackable Systems' built-to-order Eco-Logical data center server and infrastructure offerings.
The company said as a member of the NetApp Embedded Systems Vendor Program, it will participate in joint marketing activities, receive technical support and coordinate sales activities with NetApp's global sales force. Rackable Systems will also join the NetApp Partner Program, which includes access to a broad range of planning, development and marketing opportunities that accelerate business results.
