Shares of Athenahealth (ATHN) started Tuesday's session lower, but moved higher in the first 10 minutes of trading and continued to climb throughout most of the morning. The stock saw further upside in the afternoon, closing up 97 cents at $36.82.
With the gain, the stock moved above resistance to set an eight month closing high.
