Guyana's soldiers have joined in the massive search operations aimed at locating a U.S. survey plane that went missing over the country's forests last week with three people on board, said officials.
There were two Americans and a Canadian on board the plane that missing last Saturday over the small South American country's forests while conducting aerial surveys for the Canadian mining company, U308 Corp.
The Guyanese soldiers joined the search operations on Friday after repeated aerial searches failed to track the missing U.S. registered plane. The last communication from the missing plane was received at around 3 PM on Saturday.
