Loss from continuing operations was $7.68 million or $0.50 per share, wider than $3.07 million or $0.17 per share net income in the prior-year quarter.
On average, three analysts polled by First Call/Thomson Financial expected the company to report earnings of $0.35 per share.
Revenues declined to $289.74 million from $295.77 million in the year-ago quarter. Two analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $297.12 million.
