Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling promotes Robert Murray as CFO; current CFO Nik Jhangiani named Business Development Director - Update

Friday, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. (CCH) announced that effective January 1, 2009, present Chief Financial Officer Nik Jhangiani will be appointed to the new position of Strategy and Business Development Director, and current Deputy CFO Robert Murray would assume Jhangiani's existing responsibilities, and become CFO.

The company noted that Jhangiani will be reporting directly to Doros Constantinou, Managing Director, and his new responsibilities would focus on identifying broader strategic initiatives for Coca-Cola Hellenic to explore new growth and value enhancing opportunities across the group's product and geographic portfolio.

The bottling company stated that Murray has held several key senior positions since joining the Coca-Cola system and has a record of driving operational excellence and tight cost control. Murray began his association with the Coca-Cola system when he joined the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York as Controller of Operations, Director of Purchasing and CFO for the BevServ Division.

Subsequently, Murray joined Coca-Cola Amatil in Vienna as Business Planning Manager for Europe and then Vending Manager, and was then appointed General Manager in Hungary.

Two years ago, Murray was appointed General Manager in Switzerland, and was appointed Deputy CFO in October 2008. The company noted that Murray has been working closely alongside Jhangiani since July 2008.

CCH closed Thursday's trading session at $14.00.
