Wednesday, asset manager Schroders plc (SDR.L) said it named Kevin Parry as chief financial officer while Philip Mallinckrodt will join as an executive director effective January 1.
Parry replaces Stephen Brooks, who is stepping down from that role and will leave the company in the first quarter of 2009 to purse other interests following a period of transition to Parry.
Parry has been a non-executive director of Schroders since 2003, and was Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. He becomes an executive director of the company in his new role and will join the Group Management Committee.
Andrew Beeson, who is already a member of Audit Committee, has taken on Parry's Audit Committee responsibilities. Philip Howard has joined the Remuneration Committee.
