Atrium Innovations Inc. (ATB.TO) Monday announced that it has acquired Nutri-Health Supplements, LLC.
Atrium has acquired Nutri-Health Supplements for a first consideration of US$23.9 million fully paid in cash at the closing of the transaction. Two additional earn-out payments have been structured based on Nutri-Health Supplements' 2009 and 2010 EBITDA growth.
The company said that this acquisition is in line with its business development strategy as Nutri-Health Supplements markets, via multi-channel distribution, specialty niche products endorsed by health professionals.
Atrium Innovations noted that the latest acquisition would allow expansion of its brand portfolio with specialized probiotic niche products.
