Universal Energy Group Ltd. (UEG.TO) said that a subsidiary of its gas and electricity marketing business, Universal Gas and Electric Corporation, reached a settlement agreement with the staff and counsel of the Michigan Public Service Commission in respect of the MPSC's investigation into UGE's marketing of natural gas to customers in the state of Michigan.
As per the agreement, UGE would pay US$0.30 million to the MPSC to cover costs incurred during its investigation.
