Dolan Media Co. gapped up sharply Wednesday and posted gains around mid-morning. The stock advanced further late in the afternoon and closed higher by $2.47 at $14.82 on strong volume. Dolan Media has been gaining ground for the last 2 months and set an 8-month high.
