Corrects FY09 Net Income Figures in the First Para
Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) announced that the net profit for the year ended March 31, 2009 slipped to Rs. 1192.54 crore from Rs. 1272.23 crore in the previous year. Total income grew to Rs.38,430.39 crore from Rs.32,786.69 crore in the year ago.
The company's net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 rose to Rs.607.62 crore from Rs.225.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. Total income declined to Rs.6605.95 crore from Rs.9532.00 crore in the previous year.
The company recommended dividend of 12% or Re.1.20 per share for the financial year 2008-09.
