IAC/InterActiveCorp. (IACI) Wednesday said it appointed Kara Nortman as Senior Vice President of Publishing at Citysearch. Nortman previously served as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for IAC, overseeing a number of IAC's recent moves in the local space including the acquisitions of InsiderPages and Urbanspoon, as well as IAC's investment in MerchantCircle, where she currently holds a board seat. In the new role, Nortman would be responsible for overseeing the publisher side of the Citysearch business.
