Novartis India said that Novartis AG has revised the open offer made to acquire shares of Novartis India through DSP Merrill Lynch. In an announcement to shareholders of Novartis India, the company has revised the offer price upwards to Rs.450 per share against the original price of Rs.351 per share. The company said that the offer closes on June 8, 2009 and the other terms of the offer remain the same.
