Biovail Corp. (BVF) climbed late Thursday morning and continued to rise during the early portion of the afternoon. The stock finished higher by $0.53 at $13.70.
Biovail Corp. broke out of a one-month trading range and closed Thursday at a new high for the year. Trading volume for Biovail has increased significantly since May 6, when the company released first quarter results and acquired full U.S. commercialization rights to Wellbutrin XL.
