Palm Inc. (PALM) reported a fourth quarter adjusted net loss of $0.40 per share after the bell Thursday, compared to the loss of $0.22 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for a loss of $0.62 per share.
Palm Inc. gapped open higher Friday and climbed during the second half of the morning. Shares finished up by $2.20 at $16.22 on the highest volume of the year. The stock broke out of nearly a one-month range and set a new high for the year.
