Teva Rose Wednesday On FDA Decision, Extends High

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA) announced early Wednesday morning that the FDA granted approval to market Tri-Lo Sprintec, a generic version of Ortho McNeil Janssen's oral contraceptive, Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries rose during the first hour of trade Wednesday and finished the day higher by $0.85 at $50.19. The stock has been climbing for the last week and closed at its third consecutive new high for the year.
